someone out there doesn't by any chance have a high res version of the Evolution Nightcrawler head turnaround do they? see we're doing a head turnaround in class soon, guess who i would like to do? but i can't find a high enuf res version of that sheet for my teacher to approve... un-coloured would also be nice. any high res Nightie animation Model sheets at all would be greatly appreciated by me, actually!

this reminds me, why has no one scanned in and posted the Cockrum model sheet for him? the notes on it are kinda funny

consider yourself a lucky lass my art teacher would never let us use someone elses 'charater' we always had to come up with our own ...i guess it was for everyone else that didn't have an imagination (whatever) try blue-elf.com i go there once in a while for reference sheets for him and i think there are a few model sheets worth it and i hope hi res enuff for ya

ah, well the whole point of the assignment is to follow someone elses design... afterall, an animator in a studio does not typically follow thier own design, they follow someone elses. we do our own designs later. first we all did (are doing, actually) a head rotation of the same character, Bartok form Anastasia, then we get to do one of our choice, then we are designing 5 characters to be uese in a storyboarding assignment for the end of the year... these are all for different classes tho... bartok for Animation Drawing, our own choice for Animation, storyboard/character designs a combo between Animation Drawing and Visual Language....

oh, and i looked at blue-elf.com, same model sheets i have already unfortunately. i mean it has a great head rotation, it's just too low res for what i need.... i need roughly 1024x768 kind of size atleast....

oh, i MISSED those somehow thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou! i could kiss you, those were just what i was looking for! a bit bigger would still be nice, and a large one of the straight turnaround too would be nice, but the low res turnaround in combonation with these i think my teacher will probably be ok with...

Sure! it was printed in X-Men Masterworks, Volume 1. in the back it has concept art, and 4 model sheets used by Cockrum and other artists while drawing the series. It has Phoenix, Colossus, Storm, and Nightcrawler. all of them get a half page, *except* for Nightie who gets a full page! here it is.



it also has the a drawing of the Outsiders, the comic Cockrum proposed to DC but they never picked up.... here's 2 pics of that one, the full thing and a detail of our favorite blue elf...
